Are you a writer who knows how to create captivating dialogue, engaging characters, and surprising plot twists? Are you capable of writing stories as part of a team, developing ideas together, and giving and receiving constructive criticism? Do you enjoy mixing and exploring different genres, such as romantic comedy, drama, soap, mystery, and adventure? And are you up for the unique challenge of writing branching narrative, allowing the reader to change the outcome of the story?

Then we would love to welcome you at our next writer’s workshop, where you can pitch your ideas and show us your skills for a chance to permanently join our Berlin-based writer’s room and work on our interactive story-driven mobile games.
- (Near) native English skills are a must
- Experience in TV or game writing a plus

Work and collaborate in a writers room together with a team of other writers, interactive editors and game designers
Create dialogue and episodes for our romantic comedy library in a graphic novel format on a weekly basis
Write & play your story with our ever growing storytelling engine Gamebook
Define the visual and audio content for your story and help to bring characters, locations and other art and audio assets to life together with a well-attuned team of artists and sound designers
Help improve the story creation processes in our writers’ room and beyond with a growing international team in Berlin and Halle.
A background in storytelling for television, film, broadcasting, interactive fiction, platform-based fiction analog a dialog author or narrative designer
Strong proficiency in writing dialogue in English, preferably in genres such as coming-of-age and romantic comedy
Mastering the tools and tricks of writing: saving the cat, creating conflict & points of no return, embedded in original, personal and witty dialogue and storylines that invite the reader to explore the story worlds we create time and again
Expanding these tools for a storytelling format where the protagonist is, in fact, the reader who plays your story
Experience with content creation for serial formats and in a writers room is a plus
An interactive mindset that enjoys exploring and creating different outcomes for scenes and storylines - but always with the major plot points in view that bring them back together
Communication is key in creating interactive stories for our format: We expect you to bring an open and forward-looking minds and willingness to collaborate with your fellow writers, artists, game designers, producers and every once in a while also programmers
